New Year - New Problems!

What with my new diagnosis of Lupus and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, on top of everything else I've got wrong with me, these first days of the new year haven't been my best :(


I'm still spending so much time asleep, I'm beginning to  feel a little like Sleeping Beauty - minus the youth, and the beauty parts, of course! :/


I don't know when I'll be hearing from my Consultant about the extra blood tests he did but, as I had the appointment on 23rd December, I'm not having any high hopes of it being any time soon.


That's the problem with having these long breaks at this time of year - it disrupts everything and, when you consider that the last fortnight's shenanigans were on behalf of only two, or maybe three, actual days - Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Eve - it seems a huge waste of time, effort, and money to me. Especially when I'm pretty certain that there are countless people out there waiting for important results of health tests.


Bah! Humbug!
